Lack of communication

I seldom blog much about my day job.  For a variety of reasons.  But today is an exception.  I work at a university and this is spring break week.  A major project involving the cooling lines has been going on since the fall, and there has been very little communication regarding traffic disruption.  Today's example is the parking lot surprise as pictured below.  Yes, many of the available spaces have been taken up with heavy equipment.  All of the parking lot traffic is one way, so it might be an adventure to just get out of the lot this evening!
