Yesterday in the grocery store I noticed Little Debbie Holiday Cakes were available. Yup, the little frosted Christmas trees.
Then on our neighborhood walk tonight, I noticed a neighbor had put up lighted candy canes to line his driveway and sidewalk. While his neighbors have Halloween decorations galore.
There's something to be said for Advent -- and waiting!
I remember a time when Christmas decorations (and store displays) were not up until after Thanksgiving. Having Christmas displays up before Halloween just seems wrong.
