I'm not working at the Studio this weekend, so I slept late this morning.
Portia was quite pleased; she snuggled next to me for quite a while.
I awoke from strange dreams -- I've had variants on a theme for quite a while now. I dream that we're moving or have moved to a new place -- that new place is our current home. And we've forgotten something from the old place. I never know what that something is, but it's important and we've not closed out our lease or the management has gone ahead and let folks move in even though we've not finished moving. Sometimes the old place has changed -- still in the same location but with additional rooms, porches, etc. Sometimes we're moved to an interim location. But always the same: we've forgotten something and we have to retrieve it.
Strange. Occassionally this dream leaps back to a residence from 1992. But still the same -- something's forgotten, it's important and I'll know it when I see it.
In the meantime, I've got a little more time to unwind and snuggle with Portia before I get the cleaning done. Joel's working overtime today and I'd like to have things done before he gets home so he can enjoy a break this weekend too.
Knitting? I've knitted several baby hats, baby mitts and now I'm knitting a hat for Joel with leftover blue yarn from some of the baby projects. Then another set of mitts in the future. Yes, small portable projects. I'm itching to get back to some of the more substantial projects, but I'd like to get some of the smaller ones done too.

I hate it when I have dreams that make me feel even more exhausted when I wake up than before I went to sleep!
