My hubster LOVES making waffles. Throughout our married life and before, he loved to make waffles for breakfast. Over the course of the years, he's gone through several three waffle makers. The last one we thought was pretty heavy duty, but the handles and something else broke on it the last time he used it. Bye bye.
Hubster works at GE, and they have this great employee recognition program called Ovation. You are awarded points from your co-workers, which can be exhanged for various items. We've gotten waffle makers, coffee makers, vacuum cleaners, Coach purses, binoculars and other wonderful items this way.
With the demise of the waffle maker, Joel had to investigate getting a new one, preferably through Ovation points. The wonderful waffle maker arrived yesterday and he made waffles this morning.
As you can see, this is a SERIOUS waffle maker. So serious that it's termed an "Expert" waffle maker. But it made very good waffles this morning. And yes, I realize how lucky I am that my hubster will make wonderful waffles for me!!!
That is one serious looking machine!
