Saw my doc, have sample meds to get me through until my script arrives. My head is much happier now, although not totally with it (still a lingering headache).

I echo Rustee's Hurray! I am all too familiar with headaches that won't go away--it's difficult to even think clearly. Perhaps things will start to calm down in your department (a bit) now that the first week has passed?
