I took Friday and today off from work. Joel's visiting his folks and comes home this evening. Portia has enjoyed my affection and attention most of the weekend.
I taught a knitting class on Saturday (Intro to Aran Sweaters) at the Studio and had a blast with my small but mighty class. I had four students who did a great job and who successfully finished knitting the sleeves for their doll-sized sweaters. Sunday I went to church, then went to work at the Studio for the afternoon.
Guilty pleasures: I watched a few movies, watched two years of The Vicar of Dibley episodes and slept late.
Today, I make up for the guilty pleasures and get ready for Joel's homecoming. And teach another knitting class tonight.
But hey, I'm enjoying a vacation day. I love having the day to myself and enjoying the lightly structured day.
And today's payday! I've mailed the bills and paid some bills online. Whoo hoo.

I am glad you are enjoying your time off. I adore the Vicar of Dibley, ain't it the best?

Vicar of Dibley is the best. They are hilariously funny and very touching as well. I always get a little teary-eyed at the animals and stained glass window episodes. I think the first season was the best but love them all. Mary got me the DVD set for a gift a few years ago. Love em!
