Today's Friday and I took the day off to knit!!!

But have I done any knitting yet?  Nope.  But, Portia and I snoozed late, and she lavished lots of her furry love on me (including licking the back of my head while watching BBC America).  We've had coffee, written out bills (end of the month and paycheck forthcoming!), gotten some things ready for taxes and caught up on e-mail.  Her Highness is now outside hunting for mice or birds. 

Knitting will commence...

Watcha knittin'?

I taught a class on miniature Aran sweaters Saturday, so I had to do speed knitting for my sample. Serendipity happened, and in my haste I made a mistake in the cable on my sleeve, so I also had a great sample for my class. I demonstrated how to fix mistakes in cable knitting.

I have a doctor's appointment this morning and will take Mosker's scarf with me. I've started the last ball of yarn for that scarf and if all goes well, I hope to finish that soon. I won't say HOW soon, though!
